Lamballe is a town located in the western part of France. It is found in the beautiful Bretagne region, within the Côtes-d'Armor department. For a long time, Lamballe was its own "commune," which is like a small local government area or a municipality in France.

However, on January 1, 2019, Lamballe joined with some nearby smaller communes. They all came together to form a new, larger commune called Lamballe-Armor. This means Lamballe is now part of a bigger administrative area.

Lamballe has a special connection with another town far away! This is called a "sister city" or "twin town" relationship. It helps people from different countries learn about each other's cultures and build friendships.
