Lamor Miller-Whitehead, also known as "Pastor Bling Bling," was born on April 30, 1978. He is an American Protestant pastor. He is also known for his connection with New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Mr. Whitehead gained attention for showing off his wealth.

In 2022, he was robbed during a church service that was being shown live online. In May 2024, he was found guilty of fraud. He was sentenced to nine years in prison on June 18, 2024. He is currently in jail in New York.

Early Life and Education

Lamor Whitehead was born in 1978. He has said that his father was Arthur Miller Jr. After high school, he received scholarships to play sports at Shaw University and Farmingdale University. He then studied accounting and videography at Eastern New Mexico University.

After returning to New York, he started working as a mortgage broker. Later, he studied at New York Theological Seminary. He also earned a certificate in Ministry in Human Services. This certificate was from the Theological Institution of Rising Hope Inc. He is a licensed chaplain in New York State. He is also certified to perform marriages and funerals.

Past Legal Issues

In 2005, Mr. Whitehead faced legal problems. Police received complaints that people's identities were being used to buy expensive cars. He was arrested in New York while driving one of these cars.

Police found that he was involved in a large operation. This operation used false identities to get loans and buy vehicles. More than 50 people were affected in different states. Mr. Whitehead was charged with identity theft. He was found guilty in 2008. He spent five years in Sing Sing Correctional Facility and was released in 2013.

Robbery During a Live Service

In July 2022, Mr. Whitehead and his wife were robbed at gunpoint. This happened during a live-streamed church service in Brooklyn. The thieves reportedly stole jewelry. Mr. Whitehead said the stolen items included a valuable chain and a Rolex watch.

Later that year, two men were arrested and charged with the robbery. They were also charged with having firearms. A third person involved was shot and killed by U.S. Marshals in January 2024. Fraud Conviction in 2024

In 2021, a former member of his church sued Mr. Whitehead. She claimed he tricked her out of $90,000. She said he promised to help her improve her credit and buy a house. She also claimed he promised to pay her back with extra money each month.

However, she said Mr. Whitehead later told her the money was a "campaign contribution." He said he did not have to pay it back. Mr. Whitehead denied these claims in court. He also told his social media followers he was innocent.

He was found guilty and sent to jail in May 2024. On June 17, 2024, he was sentenced to nine years in prison. He had also sued a comedian for saying he committed fraud. But the judge dismissed that case. The judge said the comedian was telling the truth.
