Lao sausage, also known as Laotian sausage or sai oua, is a super popular type of sausage from Laos. It's made from pork that's chopped up and mixed with lots of yummy spices. This type of sai oua is made with water buffalo meat instead of pork. The name sai oua kwai means "stuffed water buffalo sausage." It's another delicious way to enjoy this traditional dish.
