Larchmont is a friendly neighborhood in Houston, Texas, USA. It's a place where families live in single-family homes. You can find Larchmont between Richmond Avenue and the Southwest Freeway (which is also Interstate 69/U.S. Route 59).
This neighborhood was first built in the mid-1950s. Over time, some of the original one-story homes have been replaced. Now, you can see newer, two-story homes being built there. Larchmont is surrounded by Richmond Avenue, Chimney Rock, the Southwest Freeway, and South Rice. It's super close to big shopping areas like The Galleria and business centers like Greenway Plaza. Plus, it's only about 6 miles (9.7 km) from downtown Houston.
Since 1997, some streets in Larchmont that used to go all the way through now stop at Chimney Rock. This helps keep the neighborhood quieter.
