However, before the 2010 U.S. Census, several new CDPs were formed from its original territory. These new areas included La Coma, Laredo Ranchettes West, Los Altos, and others. Because of these changes, the population of Laredo Ranchettes dropped significantly to just 22 people in 2010. By 2020, the population was 21.

Most of the people living in Laredo Ranchettes are of Hispanic or Latino background. In 2010 and 2020, 100% of the population identified as Hispanic or Latino.
