Larisa Antonia Lillian Lee is an Australian politician. She was a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly. This is like a state parliament for the Northern Territory.
She represented the area called Arnhem. She was first elected in 2012. Larisa Lee was part of the Country Liberal Party at first. Later, she became an independent politician. She also joined the Palmer United Party for a short time. She served in the Assembly until 2016.

Early Life and Background
Larisa Lee was born in a town called Katherine. This town is about 320 kilometers (200 miles) south-east of Darwin. Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory.
She grew up in a community known as Barunga. Her father, Robert Lee, was a respected leader of the Jawoyn people. He was known as a Bangardi.
Political Career in the Northern Territory
Larisa Lee started her political journey in 2012. She was elected to represent the Arnhem area. This was a big step for her.
Changes in Political Parties
After being elected, Larisa Lee changed political parties. In April 2014, she left the Country Liberal Party. For a short time, she worked as an independent politician.
Later that same month, she joined the Palmer United Party. This party was led by Clive Palmer. However, she left this party in November 2014. She then continued to serve as an independent member.
End of Her Term
Larisa Lee ran for re-election in 2016. However, she was not successful. Selena Uibo from the Labor Party won the seat for Arnhem. Larisa Lee finished in fifth place in that election.
