Larissa Hope Wilson, born on May 5, 1989, is an actress and director from England. She is well-known for playing Jal Fazer in the first two seasons of the British TV show Skins (2007-2008). Larissa has also appeared in other TV series and films. Some of her other roles were in Holby City (2008) and Tormented (2009).

Larissa Wilson's Early Life

Larissa Wilson grew up in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, England. Before she became an actress, she worked at a clothing store called New Look. She went to an audition for the TV show Skins during her lunch break. This audition took place at a nightclub in Bristol. Larissa later went to university and earned a degree in Creative Writing and Psychology.

Larissa Wilson's Acting Career

Larissa Wilson started her acting career in 2007 when she was 17 years old. Her first big role was as Jal Fazer in the British teen drama Skins. In this show, she acted alongside other young stars like Nicholas Hoult and Dev Patel.

After Skins, Larissa appeared in several other TV shows. She was in an episode of Holby City in 2008. In 2009, she acted in Kingdom. She also reunited with her Skins co-star April Pearson in the British film Tormented that same year.

Larissa continued to work in television. She appeared in Sparticle Mystery in 2011. In 2012, she had roles in The Town and Trollied. She also acted in Suspects in 2014. In 2020, Larissa starred in a podcast series called Murmurs for BBC Sounds.
