Larrissa Miller (born 12 July 1992) is an amazing artistic gymnast from Australia. She represented her country at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Larrissa first competed at the Australian Senior National Championships in 2008. She also showed her skills at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2009, 2010, and 2011. She was a strong competitor at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2014 World Championships.

Early Life and Training
Larrissa Miller was born on 12 July 1992 in Moranbah, Australia. She started gymnastics when she was just five years old. Her first club was the Moranbah Gymnastics Club, where Julie Hands was her coach.
When Larrissa was seven, she moved to Brisbane. There, she trained at the Queensland Academy of Sport. Her coaches were Vladimir and Irina Joura, who helped her develop her gymnastics skills.
Larrissa's Gymnastics Journey
Larrissa Miller began her senior gymnastics career in 2008. She competed at her first Australian Senior National Championships that year. She finished 12th in the all-around competition.
Early Senior Competitions
In 2009, Larrissa improved her ranking at the Australian Senior National Championships. She placed 7th overall and earned a fantastic 2nd place on the uneven bars.
Later in 2009, she competed at the 2009 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in London. She performed very well on the uneven bars, finishing 5th in the qualification round. She then placed 7th in the finals.
At the 2010 Pacific Rim Championships, Larrissa helped the Australian team win a bronze medal, finishing 3rd. She also placed 8th on the uneven bars and 19th in the all-around.
Olympic and Commonwealth Games Success
In June 2012, Larrissa was chosen to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. At the Olympics, she finished 29th on bars and 42nd on floor. The Australian team, including Larrissa, placed 10th overall.
Larrissa competed at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. She won a silver medal on the uneven bars, showing her strength on this apparatus. She also helped the Australian team win a silver medal in the team competition.
Later in 2014, she competed at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Nanning, China. She qualified for the floor final in 8th place and finished 6th, a great achievement.
In June 2016, Larrissa Miller was once again selected for the Olympics. She was Australia's only female gymnast in the competition at the 2016 Olympics.
Beyond Gymnastics
After her gymnastics career, Larrissa Miller explored other challenges. In 2017, she was a contestant on the first season of Australian Ninja Warrior. This show tests athletes' strength and agility through a challenging obstacle course.
