Larry Wayne Brown (born April 14, 1947) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a defenceman, a position that helps protect the team's goal. Larry played in the National Hockey League (NHL), which is the top ice hockey league in North America. He was a part of famous teams like the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, and Los Angeles Kings.
Larry Brown's Hockey Journey
Larry Brown began his hockey career in junior leagues. He played for the Brandon Wheat Kings in the MJHL and the SJHL. These leagues are where young players train and get ready for professional hockey.
After junior hockey, Larry played in several professional minor leagues. He was with teams like the New Haven Blades in the Eastern Hockey League. He also played for the Omaha Knights in the Central Professional Hockey League.
Larry made his debut in the NHL during the 1969–70 season. He played for the New York Rangers and later the Detroit Red Wings. In 1971, he joined the Philadelphia Flyers.
