Larry Dwight Hall (born September 18, 1955) is an American politician. A politician is someone who works in government to help make decisions for the public. Mr. Hall was a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for many years. He also served as the Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs from 2017 to 2021. This means he was in charge of helping military members and veterans in North Carolina. He worked under Governor Roy Cooper.

Mr. Hall is a member of the Democratic Party. He represented the 29th House district in Durham, North Carolina, from 2006 to 2017. He was first chosen for this role in 2006 by Governor Mike Easley. The 29th District is home to several important places. These include North Carolina Central University, Duke University, and the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Larry Hall is also the leader of the North Carolina Legislative Black Caucus Scholarship Foundation. This group helps students get scholarships for college. He also served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
