Larry McNeill (born January 31, 1951 – died December 29, 2004) was a talented American basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues, known for his skills as a power forward and center.

College Basketball Days
Larry McNeill played college basketball at Marquette University. He was a key player for the Marquette team, known as the Warriors, from 1971 to 1973.
Professional Basketball Career
Starting in the NBA
Larry McNeill was chosen in the second round of the 1973 NBA draft. He was picked by the Kansas City–Omaha Kings. He played with this team until 1976.
Later in 1976, he was traded to the New York Nets. In 1977, he joined the Golden State Warriors as a free agent. Over the next two years, he also played for the Buffalo Braves and the Detroit Pistons.
Playing Around the World
McNeill also played for several teams outside the NBA. He played in the Philippine Basketball Association. In 1983, he scored an amazing 88 points in one game there, which was a record at the time!
He also spent many seasons in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). He played for teams like the Wilkes-Barre Barons, the Utica Olympics, and the Rochester Zeniths. He even helped the Rochester Zeniths win the CBA championship twice, in 1979 and 1981. He was named the CBA Finals MVP in 1979.
A Special NBA Record
Larry McNeill holds an impressive NBA record. In a playoff game in 1975, while playing for the Kings, he made all 12 of his shots from the field. This means he scored 12 field goals without missing a single one, which is still an NBA playoff record!
