Where is Las Horquetas?
Las Horquetas is in the northern part of Costa Rica. It shares its borders with other places. To the north, it's next to Puerto Viejo. To the south, you'll find Varablanca de Heredia. To the west, it borders La Virgen. And to the east, it's right next to the Limón province.
The main village in the district is called Horquetas. It's about 16.9 km (16 minutes) southeast of Puerto Viejo city. It's also 68.5 km (about 1 hour and 14 minutes) northeast of San José, which is the capital city of Costa Rica. Another important village is Rio Frio, which is a bit bigger. It's about 8.5 km (12 minutes) west of Horquetas.
