Laughing Whitefish Falls State Park is a cool public park in Michigan. It protects about 960 acres of land. The park is located along the Laughing Whitefish River. It's in Alger County, which is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The most exciting part of the park is Laughing Whitefish Falls. This amazing waterfall is 100 feet tall! It has a special fan shape. You can find the falls in the southern part of the park. It's about eight miles south of Lake Superior. It's also three miles north of M-94.

Discovering Laughing Whitefish Falls

Laughing Whitefish Falls is a very unique waterfall. It's created by the Laughing Whitefish River. This river flows north towards Lake Superior. The water tumbles over a steep limestone cliff.
