Laurel Snyder, born in 1974 in Baltimore, Maryland, is an American author. She writes many books for children. These include exciting novels and fun picture books. She is also a poet.
Laurel Snyder has edited literary journals. She also shares her thoughts on NPR's All Things Considered. She studied at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She also attended the Iowa Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa. Today, she lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her family.
