The Laurel and Hardy cartoon was a fun American TV show from 1966 to 1967. It brought back the funny acts of famous comedians Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The show was made by Hanna-Barbera and Larry Harmon Productions. Larry Harmon started working on the show in 1961. Stan Laurel was still alive then, but he wasn't very involved in making the cartoons.
A total of 156 short cartoons were made. Each cartoon had its own beginning and end. This made it easy for TV stations to show them at different times. The original actors, Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel, had passed away in 1957 and 1965. So, Jim MacGeorge provided the voice for Ollie, and Larry Harmon voiced Stan. They even voiced these characters again in an episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
Most of the cartoons often ended with Stanley making a high-pitched whimper. This happened when things went wrong for them. They would usually be running away after causing some trouble.
