James Andrew MacGeorge (born October 9, 1928, died January 16, 2021) was a super talented American performer. He was a voice actor, a puppeteer, a stand-up comedian, and a writer! You might also see his name as Jim McGeorge or James MacGeorge.

Jim MacGeorge's Career Highlights

Jim MacGeorge was famous for his amazing voice work! He brought many cartoon characters to life. Some of his most well-known roles include Beany Boy, Crowy, and Uncle Captain Horatio K. Huffenpuff in the cartoon Beany and Cecil. He also voiced Oliver Hardy in The Laurel and Hardy Cartoon Show.

You might also know him as Crazy Claws from The Kwicky Koala Show, Bort in The Mighty Orbots, Wimper in Clue Club, and Dr. Wilmer Scarab in Bionic Six. Besides these, he voiced many other characters in different cartoons. He also wrote stories for cartoons made by Jay Ward Productions.

Jim MacGeorge also appeared on TV shows. He played Stan Laurel in Get Smart. He was also in Semi-Tough, Happy Days, and the movie Teenagers from Outer Space. Later, he voiced Uncle Captain Huffenpuff again in The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil. This show was made by DiC Entertainment and directed by John Kricfalusi.
