Lauren Cohan (born January 7, 1982) is an American-British actress. She is most famous for playing Maggie Rhee in the popular horror TV series The Walking Dead. She continues this role in the spin-off show, The Walking Dead: Dead City.
Cohan has also appeared in other well-known TV shows. She played Bela Talbot in the fantasy series Supernatural and the vampire Rose in The Vampire Diaries. She also had roles in the action-comedy shows Chuck and Whiskey Cavalier. In addition to her on-screen roles, she voiced the character War Woman in the animated superhero show Invincible.
Her movie work includes the comedy Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj, the scary thriller The Boy, and the action movie Mile 22.

Early Life and Education
Lauren Cohan was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Her father is American, and her mother is from Scotland. She grew up in New Jersey and also lived in Georgia for a year.
When she was thirteen, her family moved to Surrey, England. After her mother remarried, Lauren took her stepfather's last name, Cohan. She converted to Judaism when she was five years old.
Cohan graduated from King Alfred's College, which is now part of the University of Winchester. She has dual citizenship in the United States and the United Kingdom.
