LeRoy is a small village located in Osceola County, which is part of the U.S. state of Michigan. In 2020, about 260 people lived here. The village is found inside LeRoy Township.

History of LeRoy
LeRoy has a cool history! A post office opened here in 1871. James E. Bevins was the first postmaster. He worked there for many years.
In 1871, three people named S.L. Kimball, M. Westfall, and James Bevins moved to this area. The village of LeRoy officially became a village on February 2, 1873. This happened because of a special law passed by the government. The village got its name from LeRoy Carr. He was a land agent for the government in this area.

LeRoy is a small place in terms of size. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village covers an area of about 2.55 square kilometers (0.98 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water.

The number of people living in LeRoy has changed over the years. In 1880, there were 134 people. By 1920, the population grew to 642. However, it later decreased. In 2010, 256 people lived in the village. By 2020, the population was 260.
