Le Dep is a Canadian film from 2015. It was directed by Sonia Boileau. This movie tells the story of a young Innu woman named Ève Ringuette. She faces a difficult situation one night while working at a small store. This happens in a First Nations community in Quebec.
The film shows life in a made-up Innu community. Most of the talking in the movie is in French. Some parts are also in Innu-aimun, which is the Innu language. Le Dep was the first film from a First Nations team to get funding from Telefilm Canada's Micro-Budget program.
The movie first showed at the 2015 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. After that, it was shown at many film festivals. These festivals were in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The film also played in movie theaters in Montreal.
