Le Tari started his acting career in 1976. One of his first big roles was in a film called Brotherhood of Death. After that, he appeared in several popular TV shows. These included The Jeffersons, Starsky & Hutch, and Happy Days. He also acted in movies like Fast Break and The Onion Field.
Famous TV Show Roles
Le Tari became most widely recognized in the early 1980s. This was thanks to his role on the TV comedy show Diff'rent Strokes. On the show, he played Ted Ramsey. Ted Ramsey was the adoptive father of Dudley, who was Arnold Jackson's best friend. Dudley was played by actor Shavar Ross.
After his time on Diff'rent Strokes, Le Tari continued to make guest appearances on television. Towards the end of his life, he returned to film acting. He appeared in two movies released in 1987: Hollywood Shuffle and Amazon Women on the Moon.
Le Tari's Passing
Le Tari passed away on April 4, 1987. He was 40 years old. His death was caused by a heart attack. He was buried at the Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California. His birthday would have been 17 days later.
