Leandro Costa Miranda Moraes, known simply as Leandrão, is a Brazilian football (soccer) manager and former player. He was born on July 18, 1983, in Uberlândia, Brazil. Leandrão played as a striker, which means he was a goal-scorer for his teams. Today, he is the head coach for Boavista.

Leandrão's Football Journey
Leandrão started his football career in the youth teams of Internacional from 2000 to 2001. He then became a professional player for the same club in 2001.
Playing for Brazilian Clubs
After playing for Internacional, Leandrão moved to Botafogo in 2003. He played many games and scored several goals for them. Over his career, he played for many different clubs in Brazil. These included Internacional again, Vitória, Sport, ABC, Ponte Preta, São Caetano, Rio Branco, Remo, Novo Hamburgo, Brasil de Pelotas, and Vasco da Gama.
Playing in Other Countries
Leandrão also played football outside of Brazil. In 2004, he played for Vissel Kobe in Japan. Later, he moved to South Korea, where he played for Daejeon Citizen in 2005 and Ulsan Hyundai in 2006. He also played for Chunnam Dragons in South Korea in 2007. In 2013, he played for Hapoel Acre in Israel. Playing in different countries helped him gain a lot of experience.
Becoming a Manager
After a long career as a player, Leandrão decided to become a football manager. Since 2021, he has been the manager of Boavista, the same club where he also played.
