Leda Maria Linhares Nagle, born on January 5, 1951, is a well-known Brazilian journalist, writer, and TV presenter. She became famous for hosting the TV show Sem Censura on TV Brasil for more than 20 years.

Leda Nagle's Early Life and Career
Leda Nagle was born in a city called Juiz de Fora in Brazil. After she finished her journalism studies at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, she moved to Rio de Janeiro. While studying, she also had a short time acting with a group called Grupo Divulgação.
Working at TV Globo
Leda started her career at TV Globo, a big TV network in Brazil. She was the main interviewer for the news program Jornal Hoje. Later, she became the main anchor, which means she presented the news. She worked at TV Globo from 1977 to 1989. She was the second longest-serving female anchor for Jornal Hoje. Only Sandra Annemberg worked there longer.
Moving to Other TV Channels
After leaving TV Globo, Leda Nagle joined Rede Manchete. There, she presented the afternoon news show called Jornal da Manchete. She also hosted a morning interview show named Agenda at SBT in Rio de Janeiro. Besides TV, Leda also worked on radio and for important projects. These projects were with the Ministry of Education and Unesco.
Hosting Sem Censura
From 1994 to 2016, Leda Nagle hosted a popular interview show called Sem Censura. She first presented it on TVE Brasil. Later, the show moved to TV Brasil, which is a public TV channel. She was the host of this show for a very long time, over two decades.
Starting a YouTube Channel
In December 2016, Leda Nagle left TV Brasil. After that, in March 2017, she started her own channel on YouTube. On her YouTube channel, she continues to share interviews and talk about different topics.

Leda Nagle is the mother of a well-known actor named Duda Nagle. She is also the cousin of Fernando Gabeira, who is a writer and a politician.
