Ledri Vula (born July 10, 1986) is a popular rapper, singer, and songwriter from Kosovo. He is known for his hip hop music and energetic performances.
Life and Music Career
Ledri Vula was born in Pristina, Kosovo, on July 10, 1986. His father, Agron Vula, is a television producer. His mother, Xheraldina Vula, is a journalist.
Ledri first became well-known in 2005 as part of a hip hop group called Skillz. The group was very popular, but as Ledri became more famous, the group eventually broke up in 2012.
In 2014, Ledri started his solo music career. His first song as a solo artist was "100 Probleme," released in December of that year.
In 2016, he won the "My Music Hit of the Year Award" at the Top Music Awards. This showed how much his music was loved. In 2019, Ledri performed at the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina. He shared the stage with other big stars like Calvin Harris, Miley Cyrus, and Dua Lipa.
In January 2020, Ledri Vula announced his first full album, called 10/10. He released new songs from the album, like "Piano Rap" and "Prej Inati". He also worked with other artists on songs like "DMP" with Capital T, and "Aman" with Lumi B and Dafina Zeqiri.
In May 2023, Ledri released another new album titled “1 gotë per Ty.”
Helping Others
Ledri Vula also cares about helping people. After a big earthquake hit Albania in November 2019, Ledri and his family quickly offered help. They opened their homes in Pristina to families who lost their houses in the earthquake.
In May 2020, Ledri showed his support for the Black Lives Matter movement. This movement works for fairness and equal rights for Black people around the world. Later that year, he also supported an Albanian campaign called Liria ka emër (which means "Freedom has a name"). This campaign was created to support some important Albanian figures.
