Leila Arcieri was born in San Francisco, California. She has a diverse background, with Italian, Jewish, African-American, and Native American family roots. She grew up mostly in Sebastopol, a beautiful area in California known for its redwood trees. After high school, she moved back to San Francisco. There, she explored graphic design and photography before becoming a make-up artist.
Starting Her Career
In 1997, Leila Arcieri won the title of Miss San Francisco. Soon after, she began appearing in TV commercials for brands like 1-800-COLLECT and Starburst. She also appeared in music videos for famous artists such as Boyz II Men, The Isley Brothers, Montell Jordan, and Q-Tip.
Her work caught the attention of writer-producer Timothy Stack. He cast her in his new TV series, Son of the Beach, where she played the role of Jamaica St. Croix. This show was a funny parody of another popular show called Baywatch. In the same year, Leila was chosen to be the spokesmodel for Coors Lite Beer in 2000.
