Lejarzo (also called Lexartzu) is a very small village in northern Spain. It is located in the Aiara area, which is part of the Álava province. This province belongs to the Basque Country, an autonomous community in Spain.
A "hamlet" means it's a tiny settlement, even smaller than a village. In Spain, a "council" (or concejo) is a type of local government area. As of 2020, only 14 people lived in Lejarzo, making it a very quiet place.

Lejarzo is located in a scenic part of the Basque Country. It is about 58 kilometers (which is around 36 miles) northwest of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Vitoria-Gasteiz is the capital city of the Álava province.
