Lennart Green, born on December 25, 1941, is a famous Swedish magician. He is known for his amazing close-up magic, especially with cards. In 1991, he won a world championship title for his card magic. He won this award at the FISM convention in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Lennart Green's magic acts look a bit messy at first. But they actually show incredible skill. His special ways of doing tricks and his unique style have made him a very creative magician. He is a master of sleight of hand, which means he uses quick, clever hand movements to make magic happen.

How Lennart Green Started Magic
Lennart Green began learning magic when he was 18 years old. He practiced a lot to become as good as he is today.
Winning a World Championship
In 1988, Lennart Green entered a big magic competition. This was the FISM convention in The Hague, Netherlands. The judges thought he was using secret helpers to shuffle the cards. Because of this, he was wrongly disqualified from the competition.
But Lennart Green did not give up! In 1991, he performed the exact same act. This time, he asked the judges to shuffle the cards themselves. This proved he was not using any helpers. The judges were very impressed and gave him first place. He became a world champion magician!
Green's Appearances and Life Today
Lennart Green has appeared on a TV show called The World's Greatest Magic. He also gave a special talk at TED in February 2005. There, he showed off his amazing card tricks.
He lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. He travels around the world to teach other magicians his special techniques. For seven years, Lennart Green also worked as a doctor in Sweden. In 2014, he had a stroke, which is a serious medical event. This stopped him from performing for a few months. But he has since fully recovered and is back to his magic.
In late 2022, a card designer named Noel Heath worked with Lennart Green. They released a special deck of cards together. It was called "Heath Backs Lennart Green ed." and was sold by Heath Cards.
