Lenny Beckett's Early Rugby Days
Lenny Beckett was born on May 13, 1980. He went to Westfields Sports High School, which is famous for helping young athletes. While he was still in school, Lenny showed great talent in rugby league.
Playing for the Australian Schoolboys
In 1997 and 1998, Lenny was chosen to play for the Australian Schoolboys rugby league team. This is a big honor for young players, as it means they are among the best in the country for their age.
Professional Rugby League Career
Before joining rugby union, Lenny played professional rugby league in the NRL. He played for two different teams during this time.
Playing for the Knights and Eagles
Lenny played for the Newcastle Knights from 1999 to 2000. After that, he joined the Northern Eagles for the 2001 and 2002 seasons. He was a strong player in both teams.
