Leo Ihenacho (born on May 28, 1977), also known as Leo the Lion or Lee-O, is a singer, songwriter, and actor from the UK with Nigerian roots. He has worked many times with the music group The Streets.
Music Career
Early Music Success
In 2001, Leo Ihenacho was the main singer on a popular song called "Coming Home." This song was a big hit in the UK, reaching the top 40 and even number one on the dance music charts. It was created by a UK garage music producer named K-Warren.
The "Lock Down" Song
Leo Ihenacho also provided the main vocals for a song titled "Lock Down." This song was produced by Adam Skinner and Dave James. It became quite famous online, especially among video game fans. The song was often played during breaks on live video streams from the website Giant Bomb. Because of this, it became a popular internet meme. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the song's title was even used for a series of livestreams. These streams were made by the website's staff when they started working from home during the lockdown.
