The Streets is a music group from England. Their main member is Mike Skinner. He is a British rapper who sings, plays instruments, and produces their music. Mike Skinner was born in Birmingham. The group is known for mixing rap and UK garage music.

The Streets released their first album, Original Pirate Material, in 2002. This album included popular songs like "Has It Come To This" and "Weak Become Heroes".
A Grand Don't Come For Free
Their next album was called A Grand Don't Come For Free. It came out in 2004. This album is their most successful one. All the songs on the album tell a story. It's about a man who loses £1000 and tries to fix his broken TV. This album features their most famous songs, "Fit But You Know It" and "Dry Your Eyes". "Dry Your Eyes" even reached number one on the music charts!
Later Albums
In 2006, The Streets released the album The Hardest Way To Make An Easy Living. This album talks about the good and bad parts of being famous. Two years later, in 2008, they released another album called Everything Is Borrowed. Mike Skinner then planned one more album, Computers And Blues. The group later reunited in 2017.
