About Lera Kudryavtseva
Lera Kudryavtseva was born in Ust-Kamenogorsk in 1971. Even though she first wanted to be a doctor, Lera decided to study at a local cultural school. Her sister moved to Moscow, but Lera stayed in her hometown. She started working at the local House of Culture, where she helped organize concerts.
Early Career in Music
One of the concerts Lera helped with was for the popular boy band Laskovyi Mai. In 1990, she married the band's drummer, Sergei Lenyuk. After that, Lera started working as a backing singer and dancer. She performed with different bands and artists, including Evgeny Osin.
Becoming a TV Star
Lera later moved to Moscow and continued her studies at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. In 1995, she got a big chance. She passed a screen test to become a co-presenter for a TV show called Partiynaya zona on the TV-6 channel. She hosted this show with Igor Vernik.
Her biggest breakthrough as a TV presenter came in 2002. She hosted the very first New Wave music competition with Maksim Galkin. This show became one of the most-watched TV programs in Russia that year. Lera has hosted the New Wave competition every year since then.
Lera Kudryavtseva also became a very well-known presenter on the Russian TV channel NTV. She hosted shows like Zvyozdy soslish'. In 2016, she started presenting a show called Secret for a million. On this show, famous celebrities answer personal questions about their lives. If they answer, they can earn money for charity.
Lera has mentioned that her dream guest for her show would be Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Lera's Family Life
Lera Kudryavtseva has been married three times. From 2004 to 2007, she was married to Matvei Morozov. She was also in a relationship with musician Sergey Lazarev from 2008 to 2012.
Currently, Lera is married to Igor Makarov. They got married in June 2013. Lera and Igor welcomed their daughter in 2018.
