On November 13, 2007, Lester did something super rare. He achieved a quadruple-double in a game against Central Baptist College. This means he got double-digit numbers (10 or more) in four different stats: 25 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 steals. This was the first time a player in NCAA Division I men's basketball history had done this!
He also had a triple-double (double digits in three stats) and eight other double-doubles. Lester scored over 30 points in 11 games that season. He was one of the best players in the country. He ranked fifth in points per game (25.7) and fourth in steals (2.8).
Lester was the first player from UT Martin to win the OVC Player of the Year award. He won it two years in a row (2008 and 2009). This was a big deal for his school. He also received All-American honors, which means he was recognized as one of the best college players in the nation.
