Let's Dance! is a super fun album by the famous Canadian group Sharon, Lois & Bram. It was released in the fall of 1995. This album was special because it featured popular songs from the 1940s to the 1970s.

Unlike their other albums, Let's Dance! has fewer songs. However, each song is longer, giving you more time to dance! Sharon, Lois & Bram wanted this album to be full of "tunes and grooves, moves and memories." They hoped it would bring joy to kids, parents, and grandparents alike.

The album includes simple, upbeat versions of pop favorites. You'll hear songs originally by The Beatles and Stevie Wonder. Other famous artists like Melanie Safka, Nat King Cole, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Barry Mann are also featured. The goal was not to copy the original songs exactly. Instead, they wanted to give them a fresh, "90s, contemporary touch."

When the album came out, people loved it! Reviewers said it was a "moving experience" and challenged listeners to "Try to keep from dancing, Mom & Dad!" They praised the "energetic, talented Canadian vocal trio." The album's producer was Emmy Award-winner Jamie Lawrence. He made sure the songs sounded great for the 90s.

Touring and Promoting the Album

To celebrate the album, Sharon, Lois & Bram went on a big tour. It was called the Let's Dance! Tour. They visited over 40 cities across Canada. They also performed in many cities in the United States. This tour was one of their biggest ever! It lasted from the summer of 1995 to the spring of 1996.

During the concerts, they played songs from the new album. They also performed many of their classic hits. Their friendly sidekick, Elephant, joined them on stage. Elephant always added lots of fun to the show!

Sharon, Lois & Bram are ambassadors for UNICEF. This means they help promote UNICEF's work. They arranged for part of the money from each Let's Dance! album sale to go to UNICEF. This helped provide immunizations, health care, good food, basic education, and safe water for children in need.

Fans could also buy posters, t-shirts, and other cool souvenirs at the concerts.
