Early Life and How She Started
Letícia Sabatella was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. When she was two years old, her family moved to a small mining town. Her father worked there as an engineer. She often talks about how much she learned to love nature in that green and peaceful place. Today, she lives in Nova Friburgo, a beautiful mountain area in Rio de Janeiro. She even grows organic food there with her friends.
Letícia started caring about social issues from a young age. Important people like Frei Betto and Herbert de Souza helped her see that she could use her fame for good, not just to make money. She became very involved in helping others. She even lived with indigenous people (native groups) for a while to understand their lives. She also camped with members of the Landless Workers' Movement to learn about their goals.

Letícia Sabatella married actor Fernando Alves Pinto in São Paulo on December 16, 2013. They had a small wedding with about 350 guests. She is also a vegetarian, which means she does not eat meat. In 2023, Letícia shared that she was diagnosed with autism. Autism is a way of thinking and seeing the world that is different for some people.
