Levon Aram Altounian (Arabic: ليون ارام التونيان; 15 February 1936 – 6 September 2020) was a famous Lebanese football player. He played as a right winger or an attacking midfielder.
Altounian spent his entire club career playing for Homenetmen. He played there from 1952 to 1973. He was the top scorer in the Lebanese Premier League two times. These were in the 1962–63 and 1966–67 seasons. Altounian also played for the Lebanon national team. He was their captain and led them to third place in the 1963 Arab Cup.

Club Career: Playing for Homenetmen
Levon Altounian was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on February 15, 1936. He played his whole club career with the team Homenetmen. This was a very long time, from 1952 until 1973.
He was a fantastic goal scorer. He won the award for top scorer in the Lebanese Premier League twice. In the 1962–63 season, he scored 14 goals. Then, in the 1966–67 season, he scored even more, with 19 goals!
International Career: Playing for Lebanon
Altounian also played for the Lebanon national team. He scored two goals in the 1957 Pan Arab Games. His goals helped Lebanon get to third place in that competition.
He was also the captain of Lebanon's team in the 1963 Arab Cup. He scored six goals in that tournament. Lebanon finished in third place again, showing how important he was to the team.

Levon Altounian first started playing as an attacking midfielder. Later, he became a right winger. He was well-known for his amazing speed on the field.

Death
Levon Altounian passed away on September 6, 2020. He died at the Daher El Bachek Hospital in Roumieh, Lebanon.
