Lewisdale is a community located in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It's not an official city, but rather an unincorporated community. This means it's a neighborhood that is part of a larger area called Chillum for counting purposes. Lewisdale is bordered by the Northwest Branch Anacostia River to the east. It also has major roads like East West Highway to the south, University Boulevard to the north, and Riggs Road to the west.

Lewisdale Neighborhood Park
You can find this park a bit north of Riggs Manor Neighborhood Park on West Park Drive. A small wooded area breaks West Park Drive north of this park. Like Riggs Manor Park, the Lewisdale Neighborhood Park is next to the Northwest Branch Anacostia River. The Northwest Branch Trail also goes through this park. This park is also quiet, but it has more features than Riggs Manor Park. Lewisdale Neighborhood Park includes a small playground area and a kickball field. It also has a basketball court.
Lane Manor Community Park and Recreation Center
This is the largest park in Lewisdale, located at the northern end. It's at the corner of University Boulevard and West Park Drive. The Northwest Branch Anacostia River surrounds Lane Manor Community Park, similar to the other parks. However, this park is much busier and has many more facilities.
The Lane Manor Community Park features a large soccer field. It also has a medium-sized playground area and a basketball court. You'll find a tennis court, a small kickball field, and a picnic area with a pavilion. There's an indoor recreation center with bathrooms and a swimming pool that has a small slide. During spring and summer, ice cream trucks often visit this park. Many kids and adults buy ice cream when the weather is warm. This park is also a popular spot for soccer games. Many people play soccer here for fun, and others join leagues for competitive games.
