Liam Charles is a talented British baker and TV star. He was born on August 28, 1997, in Hackney, London. Liam first became famous as a contestant on The Great British Bake Off. Today, he presents Bake Off: The Professionals and is a judge on Junior Bake Off.

Liam's Amazing Career
Becoming a TV Star
Liam first appeared on TV in 2017. He was a contestant on The Great British Bake Off, a popular baking competition. He did very well, making it to the 8th week and finishing in fifth place.
In 2018, Liam became a TV presenter himself. He started co-hosting Bake Off: The Professionals with comedian Tom Allen. That same year, he also had his own baking show called Liam Bakes on Channel 4. In November 2019, Liam joined Prue Leith as a new judge for Junior Bake Off. Harry Hill was the presenter for that show.
Liam also appeared on The Masked Dancer in October 2022. He was the character "Candlestick" and was revealed in the sixth episode.
Writing Cookbooks and Columns
Besides his TV work, Liam is also a writer. He has written two cookbooks filled with delicious recipes. His first book, Cheeky Treats: 70 Brilliant Bakes and Cakes, came out on July 12, 2018. His second book, Second Helpings, was released on September 19, 2019.

Judging the Platinum Pudding Competition
In January 2022, Liam Charles was chosen to be a judge for The Platinum Pudding Competition. This was a special baking contest held across the country. It was supported by Buckingham Palace, Fortnum & Mason, and The Big Jubilee Lunch.
The competition aimed to find a brand new pudding recipe. This pudding would be dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II. It was part of the official Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. These celebrations marked 70 years since Queen Elizabeth II became queen on February 6, 1952.
