Liberty is a small place in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, United States. It is called an "unincorporated community" because it does not have its own local government like a city or town. It is also a "census-designated place," which means the government counts the people living there for statistics. In 2010, about 220 people lived in Liberty.
Liberty once had its own post office. It opened on August 24, 1914, and closed on August 15, 1927.

Liberty School: Keeping Kids Safe
Liberty has a school called Liberty School. It teaches children from kindergarten up to eighth grade. In 2013, the school made news for adding special security features. They installed strong, bomb-resistant glass in their windows and doors. This was done to help keep students and staff safe.
