Libuse is a small community in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, United States. It's not an official city or town, but a place where people live together. Libuse is part of the larger Alexandria metropolitan area, Louisiana.
The community was started in 1914 by people who moved there from the Czech Republic. They named the place after Libuše, a famous princess from Czech legends.
