Early Life and Music Beginnings
Semaja Zair Render was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the youngest of seven children. He grew up in different parts of Atlanta. Lil Gotit started taking music seriously after a friend passed away in 2016. This event inspired him to focus on his rap career.
He began making songs with his older brother, Lil Keed, who was also a rapper. They worked together on songs like "Trap Bunkin" and "All Season." People in Atlanta started noticing his music, and it became popular in clubs. His stage name, Lil Gotit, comes from a nickname, "Maja Gotit," because he seemed to "have everything." He also looks up to famous rapper Young Thug as a mentor.

Starting Out: 2018–2019
Lil Gotit started his music journey by working with other artists. He teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert for songs like "Heavy Metal" and "Hercules." He also released "Superstar" with Gunna.

In September 2019, Lil Gotit and Lil Keed performed together in Los Angeles. Famous rappers like Drake and Young Thug were also there to support them. He also performed at the Rolling Loud Festival in Oakland and the A3C Festival in Atlanta in October 2019.
