London Tyler Holmes (born March 27, 1991), known as London on da Track, is an American music producer, rapper, and songwriter. He is famous for creating beats for many top artists. He often works with Young Thug. He has also made music for stars like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Ariana Grande, and Post Malone.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

London Tyler Holmes was born on March 27, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee. When he was 10, his family moved to Atlanta. He learned to play the piano and keyboards at church. This helped him later in his music career. After high school, he went to Full Sail University in Florida for a short time.

Building a Music Career

Holmes started rapping when he was 16 with a group called Dem Guyz. They used to buy beats online for their songs. To save money, London decided to make his own beats. He used his piano skills and online software to create music.

He became well-known locally for producing beats for the group Rich Kidz. At first, he gave his beats away for free. This helped him make connections and get his name out there. The first song he produced that played on the radio was "Pieon" by Rich Kidz. This success made him want to keep making music.

In 2011, he started working with Young Thug. Their first song together was "Curtains." Because of his work with Young Thug, London signed with Cash Money Records in 2014. This was a big step in his career.

First Big Hits

In April 2014, London on da Track produced the song "Hookah" for Tyga. This song was his first to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This chart lists the most popular songs in the U.S.

Later that year, the famous rapper Bryan "Birdman" Williams called London "the best producer in the business." Young Thug also said London is his favorite producer. Complex magazine named him one of the "25 New Producers To Watch For" in 2013.

In the same month, three songs produced by London were on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. These were "Lifestyle" by Rich Gang, "About the Money" by T.I., and "Hookah" by Tyga. This showed how successful he was becoming.

Beyond Music Production

London on da Track has also appeared on TV shows. In 2018, he was on Black Ink Crew: Chicago. He was also named a "Secret Genius Ambassador" by Spotify. In 2019, he appeared on Netflix's music competition show Rhythm + Flow. He helped contestants with their music production.

In March 2020, London produced and helped write Ariana Grande's song "Positions." This song became a huge hit. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and other global charts. This was his most successful song as a producer.

Family Life

London Tyler Holmes has four children. He has a daughter with singer Summer Walker, born in 2021. He also has another daughter and two sons from earlier relationships.
