Jahron Anthony Brathwaite (born July 3, 1993), who is known by his stage name PartyNextDoor, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. He became famous after being the first artist to sign with the rapper Drake's record label, OVO Sound, in 2013.

PartyNextDoor released his first mixtape, called PartyNextDoor, in July 2013. Music critics liked it a lot. His first official album, PartyNextDoor Two (2014), included the hit single "Recognize" featuring Drake. His second album, PartyNextDoor 3 (2016), was also a big success. It had popular songs like "Come and See Me" and "Not Nice."

His third album, Partymobile (2020), featured his highest-charting songs, "Loyal" and "Believe It" with Rihanna. In 2024, he released his fourth album, PartyNextDoor 4. He then worked with Drake on a collaborative album, Some ... Songs 4 U (2025), which became his first album to reach number one on the music charts in both Canada and the United States.

Besides making his own music, PartyNextDoor has written and produced songs for many other famous artists. He helped write Rihanna's number-one hit "Work" (2016) and DJ Khaled's popular song "Wild Thoughts" (2017). He has also worked with artists like Kanye West, Usher, and Post Malone.

Early Life

Jahron Anthony Brathwaite was born on July 3, 1993, in Mississauga, Ontario, a city near Toronto. His father is from Trinidad and his mother is from Jamaica. Growing up, he sang in his church choir with his mother, which he says was the start of his love for music.

In high school, Brathwaite started making his own music in his bedroom. He tried to share his music with record labels, but they didn't understand his artistic style. This encouraged him to learn how to produce his own songs. At 16, he left high school and moved to Los Angeles to follow his dream of a music career. He began posting music online under the name Jahron B.
