Jahron Anthony Brathwaite (born July 3, 1993), known as PartyNextDoor, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and music producer. He has been nominated for a Grammy Award.
He was the first artist to sign with Drake's record label, OVO Sound, in 2013. This label is part of Warner Records. PartyNextDoor released his first music collection, called an EP, in July 2013. It was named PartyNextDoor and was well-received.
His first full album, PartyNextDoor Two (2014), came out the next year. It included the song "Recognize" with Drake. This song sold so many copies that it earned a "double platinum" award. His second album, PartyNextDoor 3 (2016), was even more successful. It reached number three on the Billboard 200 music chart. Songs like "Come and See Me" (with Drake) and "Not Nice" became his first hits on the Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100 charts.
His third album, Partymobile (2020), also did very well. It featured his highest-charting songs: "Loyal" (with Drake) and "Believe It" (with Rihanna).
Besides making his own music, PartyNextDoor has written and produced many songs for other artists. He helped create Rihanna's 2016 hit "Work" and DJ Khaled's 2017 song "Wild Thoughts". These songs reached numbers one and two on the Billboard Hot 100. He has also worked with artists like Kanye West, Usher, Christina Aguilera, and Post Malone.

Early Life and Music Beginnings
Jahron Anthony Brathwaite was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. His mother is from Jamaica and his father is from Trinidad.
When he was younger, his father played music that inspired him. He listened to groups like Jodeci, Boyz II Men, and Blackstreet.
Music Career Highlights
Starting Out and First Albums (2006–2015)
PartyNextDoor first made electronic R&B music under his real name, Jahron B. At 18, he signed a deal with Warner/Chappell to write songs. He started using the name PartyNextDoor.
His first collection of songs, an EP called PartyNextDoor, came out on July 1, 2013. It quickly appeared on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. He also sang background vocals on two songs from Drake's album, Nothing Was the Same.
His first studio album, PartyNextDoor Two, was released on July 30, 2014. This album included popular songs like "Her Way" and "Recognize," which featured Drake. Later in 2014, he released a four-song EP called PNDColours. A follow-up, Colours 2, came out in 2017. In 2015, he produced three songs for Drake's album, If You're Reading This It's Too Late.
Big Hits and New Music (2016–Present)
PartyNextDoor wrote his first number-one song in 2016. This was "Work" by Rihanna, which stayed at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks. He also wrote another song on Rihanna's album, Anti.
On March 25, 2016, PartyNextDoor released "Come and See Me" with Drake. This song was from his second album, PartyNextDoor 3. A music video for "Come and See Me" came out in June 2016. It featured famous people like Kylie Jenner.
In July 2016, he released another song, "Like That," with Jeremih and Lil Wayne. His album PartyNextDoor 3 was released on August 12, 2016.
On June 4, 2017, PartyNextDoor surprised fans by releasing Colours 2 without any announcement. He also released a short film with parts of all four songs from the EP.
On September 29, 2017, he released an EP called Seven Days. It featured guest artists like Halsey and Rick Ross.
After a break, PartyNextDoor returned in December 2019 with two new songs, "The News" and "Loyal" with Drake. These songs were from his album Partymobile, which was released on March 27, 2020.
On October 15, 2020, PartyNextDoor surprised fans again with Partypack. This EP had seven songs that had not been released before. On January 29, 2021, his 2014 EP, Colours, became available on streaming services for the first time. It included four extra songs from Colours 2.
On July 7, 2023, he released a single song called "Resentment." On April 26, 2024, PartyNextDoor released his much-awaited album, PartyNextDoor 4.
In August 2024, Drake announced that he and PartyNextDoor were working on a new album together. PartyNextDoor also said he would release a song called "Gonna Be Sad" from his upcoming fifth album, How I Feel When You Leave Me.
