Kylie Kristen Jenner (born August 10, 1997) is an American TV star, social media personality, and businesswoman. She became famous on the reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which ran from 2007 to 2021. Later, she starred in The Kardashians on Hulu starting in 2022.

Kylie is also the founder and owner of her own makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics. She is one of the most-followed people on Instagram.

When she was 14, in 2012, Kylie and her sister Kendall worked with the clothing brand PacSun. They created their own clothing line called Kendall & Kylie. In 2015, Kylie started her own makeup line called Kylie Lip Kits. This line was renamed Kylie Cosmetics the next year.

Kylie Jenner has been a very important person in pop culture since the mid-2010s. Time magazine named the Jenner sisters among the most influential teens in the world in 2014 and 2015. They were recognized for their big impact on young people through social media. In 2017, Forbes magazine put Kylie on its list of the top 100 celebrities with the highest earnings. Kylie Kristen Jenner was born on August 10, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. She is the youngest daughter of Caitlyn Jenner, a former Olympic champion, and Kris Jenner, a TV personality and businesswoman.

Kylie has an older sister named Kendall. She also has eight older half-siblings from her parents' previous marriages. From her father's side, she has three half-brothers and one half-sister. From her mother's side, she has three half-sisters, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé, and one half-brother, Rob Kardashian. Her parents divorced in 2015.

Kylie went to Sierra Canyon School and was part of the cheerleading team. She also says she acted in school plays. In 2012, she started homeschooling and got her high school diploma in July 2015 from Laurel Springs School.

Starting on Reality TV (2007–2012)

In 2007, Kylie and her family began starring in the reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The show followed their daily lives and became very popular on the E! network.

This show led to many spin-off series, like Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. Kylie often made guest appearances on these shows. In 2011, Seventeen magazine named Kylie and Kendall "Style Ambassadors" for their fashion sense.

The sisters also hosted events and interviewed celebrities. For example, they hosted the premiere of The Vow in Hollywood in 2012. They also interviewed the cast of The Hunger Games.

Early Projects and Collaborations (2013–2014)

Kylie and Kendall co-hosted the 2014 Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. Kylie even acted in a short video for the show. In August 2014, the sisters appeared in music videos for artists like PartyNextDoor and Jaden Smith.

They also wrote a science fiction novel together called Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia. The book was about two twin girls in a special world. They also released a sequel called Time of the Twins.

In May 2015, Kylie talked about getting lip augmentation on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her fuller lips became a big topic online. She later said she used lip liner to make her lips look bigger. Kylie also said she did not want to encourage young girls to change their appearance.

In August 2015, Kylie announced her first lipstick line, Kylie Lip Kit. In February 2016, her company was renamed Kylie Cosmetics. The number of makeup kits she produced grew from 15,000 to 500,000.

In April 2019, Kylie and Kim Kardashian's KKW Beauty launched a new perfume together. This was Kylie's first time creating a fragrance. Kylie then started her own skincare brand called Kylie Skin in May 2019. This brand sells products like face washes and moisturizers.

In June 2019, Kylie Cosmetics launched a new collection with her half-sister Khloé Kardashian. In September, Kylie became the makeup artistic director for Balmain's fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. Kylie Cosmetics and Balmain also released a special makeup collection.

Relationships

In 2011, Kylie dated Australian singer Cody Simpson.

In 2014, she became close with rapper Tyga. They made their relationship official in 2015 when Kylie turned 18. Kylie appeared in two of Tyga's music videos. They broke up in April 2017.

In April 2017, Kylie was first seen with Travis Scott at Coachella. On February 1, 2018, Kylie gave birth to their daughter. Kylie appeared in the music video for "Stop Trying to Be God" from Travis Scott's album Astroworld. They broke up in September 2019 but spent time together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kylie has worked with many brands. She had two nail polishes with Nicole by OPI. In 2013, Kylie and Kendall each earned $100,000 for their OPI endorsements. In November 2013, the Jenner sisters launched The Kendall & Kylie Collection with PacSun.

In February 2014, they launched a shoe and handbag line for Steve Madden's Madden Girl. Kylie also launched her own line of hair extensions called Kylie Hair Kouture in October 2014. In March 2015, she became an ambassador for the skincare brand Nip + Fab.

In June 2015, the Jenner sisters launched their clothing line Kendall + Kylie with Topshop. They also launched their personalized website and mobile app called Kendall and Kylie in September 2015.

Kylie has used her fame to help others. She created an eBay account to auction her old clothes. The money raised goes to the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. In January 2014, she joined her sisters and other celebrities for a charity bowling game. This event raised money for The Robin Hood Foundation.

In December 2015, Kylie donated Christmas gifts to the Los Angeles LGBT Teen Center. In January 2017, she gave $10,000 to her friend Jordyn Woods to help with memorial costs for Jordyn's father. On her birthday in 2017, Kylie announced she donated $500,000 from her Birthday Collection sales to Teen Cancer America. This organization helps hospitals create special units for teens with cancer.

Kylie is also an ambassador for Smile Train, a charity that helps children with cleft lips and palates get surgery. She is one of the youngest ambassadors for the organization. In 2016, Kylie launched a special lip kit called "Smile" and donated $159,500 to Smile Train. This money helped fund surgeries for 638 children.

In September 2019, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kylie donated $750,000 to Nest of Love. This is a feminist organization in Florida that helps mentor young women and supports low-income kids.

In January 2020, Kylie gave $1 million to five organizations in Australia to help with the bushfires. In March 2020, Kylie, her mother Kris, and Coty donated over 6,000 pounds of hand sanitizers to hospitals in Southern California. This helped healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
