Noah Lindsey Cyrus was born on January 8, 2000. She is an American singer and actress. When she was a child, she voiced the main character in the English version of the movie Ponyo (2008). She also had small parts in TV shows like Hannah Montana and Doc.
In 2016, Noah started her music career. She released her first song, "Make Me (Cry)", with Labrinth. This song reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She has released three shorter music collections called extended plays (EPs): Good Cry (2018), The End of Everything (2020), and People Don't Change (2021). Her first full album, The Hardest Part, came out on September 16, 2022. Noah was even nominated for Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards. She is the youngest child of famous country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and producer Tish Cyrus.

Early Life and Family
Noah Cyrus was born on January 8, 2000, in Nashville, Tennessee. Her mother is Tish Cyrus, a producer and director. Her father is Billy Ray Cyrus, a well-known country singer.
Noah has several siblings. Many of them are also musicians and entertainers. Her siblings include Miley, Braison, Brandi, Trace, and Christopher. Her grandfather, Ron Cyrus, was a politician in Kentucky.
Acting Career
Noah started acting when she was just 2 years old. She played Gracie Hebert in an episode of her father's TV show, Doc.
In 2009, she was a background dancer in the movie Hannah Montana: The Movie. Her older sister Miley Cyrus starred in that film. Noah also had small roles in six episodes of the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana.
She appeared in the movie Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out? (2008). Her first main movie role was voicing the character Ponyo in the English version of the Japanese animated film Ponyo (2009). She also sang the English theme song for the movie with her co-star Frankie Jonas.
From 2009 to 2010, Noah had a web show called The Noie and Ems Show with her friend Emily Grace Reaves. In 2021, she was a guest star in an episode of the TV series American Horror Stories.
Music Career
Starting Music and Good Cry (2016–2018)
On November 15, 2016, Noah Cyrus signed a record deal. She released her first song, "Make Me (Cry)", on the same day. It featured the English singer Labrinth.
In December 2016, she shared an acoustic version of her song "Almost Famous". She also sang on the song "Chasing Colors" by Marshmello and Ookay in February 2017.
Noah released more songs in 2017, including "Stay Together" and "I'm Stuck". On September 21, 2017, she released "Again" with XXXTentacion. She also opened for Katy Perry on her Witness: The Tour from September to November 2017.
In November 2017, Noah was a surprise DJ at Emo Nite in Los Angeles. She played some of her own music and songs by her half-brother Trace Cyrus. She also released "My Way" with the group One Bit. Time magazine named her one of the 30 Most Influential Teens in 2017.
In 2018, Noah released "We Are..." with Danish artist MØ. She also worked with MAX on the song "Team". Another song, "Lately", came out with Tanner Alexander. On July 9, 2018, Noah announced her first tour, called The Good Cry Tour.
She released "Live or Die" with Lil Xan in August 2018. Norwegian DJ Matoma featured Noah on his song "Slow" in 2017, which was on his album One in a Million. Noah released her EP, Good Cry, on September 21, 2018. This EP included songs like "Mad at You" with Gallant and "Punches" with LP. DJ Alan Walker featured Noah's voice on "All Falls Down" for his album Different World.
The End Of Everything and People Don't Change (2019–2021)
On July 31, 2019, Noah released "July". This was the first song from her second EP, The End of Everything. She also released a cover of Mac Miller's song "Dunno" on July 24, 2020.
Her second EP, The End of Everything, came out on May 15, 2020. A reviewer described it as showing her feelings and struggles in a heartfelt way.
After her EP was well-received, Noah planned to release her first full album in early 2021. She released "All Three" on December 11, 2020. On February 8, 2021, she announced a new EP with PJ Harding, a songwriter she had worked with before. The first song from it, "Dear August", came out three days later. The EP was called People Don't Change and was released on April 23, 2021.
The Hardest Part and Tour (2022–Present)
On April 5, 2022, Noah announced her new song "I Burned LA Down", which was released on April 8. On the same day, she shared news about her first album, The Hardest Part. It was originally set for July 15.
Three more songs came out before the album: "Mr. Percocet" (May 13), "Ready To Go" (June 23), and "Every Beginning Ends" with Benjamin Gibbard (August 26). The album's release was moved to September 16, 2022, because of production delays. After the album came out, Noah released "I Just Want A Lover" from the album. On September 23, she released a remix of "Noah (Stand Still)" with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. An acoustic version of "Unfinished" was released on October 14.
Noah started The Hardest Part Tour on October 4, 2022. The European part of the tour was canceled. The tour had 24 shows and ended on November 4.
On November 18, Noah and PJ Harding released a new song called "Snow In LA". In May 2024, Noah released "How Far Will We Take It?" with country musician Orville Peck. She also helped write and was featured on the song "My Fault" with country singer Shaboozey.
Personal Life
Noah Cyrus has spoken openly about her mental health. She experiences depression and anxiety, which can include panic attacks. She has shared that she goes to therapy to help with these challenges. Her music often talks about her feelings, like in her EPs Good Cry and The End of Everything.
In June 2023, Noah announced that she was engaged to Pinkus, a fashion designer.
Activism
In 2013, for her 13th birthday, Noah helped raise money to ban horse-drawn carriages in New York City.
More recently, she has worked with PETA. She appeared in an advertisement against using animal dissection in high school science classes. She suggested using plastic models or virtual programs instead. She also supported a boycott of SeaWorld.
