Early Life and Education
Lila Ibrahim's parents moved to the United States. She went to Purdue University to study electrical and computer engineering. She earned her degree in 1993. While there, she was part of Phi Sigma Rho, a special group for women studying STEM subjects. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Her Amazing Career
Lila Ibrahim started her career in 1993 at Intel. She worked as a design engineer on the Pentium processor. This is a very important part of computers. She stayed at Intel for 18 years. During this time, she held many different jobs. These included technical roles, marketing, and leadership positions. She even worked as the Chief of Staff for Intel's CEO, Craig Barrett.
