About Linda Aksomitis
Linda Aksomitis was born on August 7, 1954, in Regina, Saskatchewan. When she was a teenager, she wrote poetry. She used the pen name Sunflower Sue for some of her poems. These poems were sometimes published in The Western Producer magazine.
Her Work as a Writer
Linda Aksomitis has written more than 30 books. These books include both true stories (nonfiction) and made-up stories (fiction). Her books have been published in five different countries. She is now focusing on publishing her own books. One of her popular series is called Magic Forest Adventures. This series retells classic fairy tales and folk tales.
Teaching and Learning
Linda Aksomitis has taught many online courses. She taught people how to write for the internet. She also taught how to publish and sell e-books. She worked as an instructional designer at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. This means she helped create learning materials for students.
