Linda Kozlowski, born on January 7, 1958, is an American actress who is now retired. She is most famous for playing Sue Charlton in the Crocodile Dundee movies. Her role in the first Crocodile Dundee film even earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe Award!

Early Life and Education
Linda Kozlowski was born on January 7, 1958. She grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut, and graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1976. After high school, Linda went on to study drama at the Juilliard School, a very famous performing arts school. She graduated from Juilliard in 1981.
Acting Career Highlights
Linda Kozlowski started her acting journey in theater. She appeared in an off-Broadway play called How It All Began in 1981. She also performed on Broadway in the play Death of a Salesman. She later played the same role in the 1985 movie version of the play.
Becoming a Movie Star
Linda's biggest opportunity came in 1986. She was chosen to play the main female role, Sue Charlton, in the Australian movie Crocodile Dundee. In this film, she starred alongside actor Paul Hogan. Their characters had great chemistry on screen, which led to a real-life romance between the actors.
In 1987, Linda Kozlowski was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. This was for her excellent performance as Sue Charlton in Crocodile Dundee. Two years later, she returned to her role as Sue in Crocodile Dundee II, again starring with Paul Hogan. In 1988, she also appeared in other movies like Pass the Ammo and the TV miniseries Favorite Son.
Later Roles and Retirement
After the Crocodile Dundee films, Linda continued acting in several movies. She appeared in Almost an Angel (1990), which also starred Paul Hogan. She was also in Backstreet Justice (1994) and The Neighbor (1994). In 1995, she acted in Village of the Damned. Her final film role was in 2001, when she starred with Paul Hogan again in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.
Linda decided to stop acting because she wasn't happy with the types of roles she was getting. She felt that many of the movies were not very good, and she wanted to focus on other things in her life.
Personal Life
Linda Kozlowski met Australian actor Paul Hogan when they filmed Crocodile Dundee together in 1986. They became a couple while working on Crocodile Dundee II two years later. Linda and Paul got married on May 5, 1990. They have one son together named Chance.
