Thomas continued to play strongly in 2014, scoring 45 goals in 23 games. He kept up his good form in 2015 and 2016, kicking 34 and 37 goals respectively. He played in almost all games during these years.
Moving to Port Adelaide
After the 2017 season, North Melbourne decided not to keep Thomas on their team. However, Port Adelaide was interested in him. They chose him in the 2017 AFL rookie draft.
