Linsay Willier is a Canadian model, a speaker who inspires others, and an actress. She is well-known for being the runner-up on the TV show Canada's Next Top Model, Cycle 3.

Early Life and Education

Linsay Willier was born on July 16, 1983, in High Prairie, Alberta. She is a proud member of the Sucker Creek First Nation. Linsay grew up on her reserve. Later, she moved to Edmonton, Alberta, to go to university.

Linsay studied Child and Youth Care at Grant MacEwan University. During her last year of studies, she was chosen to be a finalist for Canada's Next Top Model. Linsay did not want to stop her education. So, she worked very hard and finished her final semester in just two weeks! She then went on to compete in the show. Linsay made it home just in time to attend her graduation ceremony.

Her Journey on Canada's Next Top Model

Linsay tried out for the third season of Canada's Next Top Model. Over 6,000 people applied for the show. Linsay was one of only 11 people chosen to be a finalist! She competed against many talented models. In the end, Linsay came in second place, with Meaghan Waller winning the top spot.

A Successful Career

Before Canada's Next Top Model, Linsay was discovered at West Edmonton Mall by a fashion designer. She had already walked in shows for Western Canada Fashion Week. She also modeled with actor Shemar Moore and was often featured in the Edmonton Journal newspaper.

After the TV show, Linsay continued to have a very successful modeling career. She walked in Toronto Fashion Week, a big event for fashion. Linsay also appeared in several fashion campaigns. These included Sho Sho Esquiro's 2012 Collection. She was also part of the Bethany Yellowtail "Millenia" Collective. This collection was even shown in Vogue Magazine, which is a very famous fashion magazine!

Inspiring Others: Dreams in Motion

In 2009, Linsay started her own company called Dreams in Motion. This company helps young people feel better about themselves. Dreams in Motion offers fun workshops that build self-esteem and confidence. The company was featured in New Tribe Magazine in February 2010. Linsay uses her experiences to inspire other young people to follow their dreams.

Miss Universe Canada

In 2011, Linsay competed in the Miss Universe Canada pageant. She won the People's Choice Award at the event. This award is given to the contestant who gets the most votes from the public.
