Lisa George (born 15 October 1970) is an English actress. She is famous for playing the character Beth Tinker in the TV show Coronation Street. This show is a soap opera on ITV. Lisa played Beth from 2011 until 2024. In 2020, Lisa also competed in the TV competition Dancing on Ice, where she finished in fifth place.

Starring in Coronation Street
In August 2011, Lisa George first appeared in Coronation Street. She played Beth Tinker, who was the ex-girlfriend of a character named Steve McDonald. She was only meant to be in two episodes at first. But people liked her so much that she was asked to come back as a regular cast member!
For her role as Beth, Lisa was nominated for a "Best Newcomer" award in 2012 by TV Choice. She said she was "shocked and over the moon" to be nominated.
In December 2023, it was announced that Lisa would be leaving her role as Beth after thirteen years. Her character left the show in the summer of 2024.

Before joining Coronation Street as Beth, Lisa George had other acting roles. In 1997, she toured with a stage musical called Prisoner: Cell Block H.
