Lisa Ortiz is an American voice actress and voice director. She is famous for lending her voice to many English versions of anime shows. You might know her as Lina Inverse from Slayers or Amy Rose from Sonic X. She also voiced Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog video games for several years.
Since 2016, Lisa has been the voice director for the English version of Pokémon. This means she helps guide other voice actors. She also voiced some characters in the very first season of Pokémon. In 2021, she returned to voice Tao Jun in the new Shaman King anime on Netflix.

At an event called Katsucon in 2002, Lisa shared a fun story about how she got into voice acting. Her brother borrowed her car without asking! When she went to get it back, she met a friend. This friend then invited her to try out for a voice role in a show called Record of Lodoss War. And that's how her amazing career began!
